My first entry...

Hello everyone,

Seeing as I am fairly new to this blogging game, I thought I'd start out with a little introduction to what this blog is all about, and what to expect in the forth coming entries.

For those of you who know me well, I moved to Manhattan (from London) just under 2 years ago (August 07) and have been living it up ever since. Over the past couple of years people always ask me the same question - "so what have you been up to?"
  • The simple answer is a lot...
  • The complex answer is to follow my blog and see...
With that said I will try and keep the entries short, sweet, straight to the point and fun... all the usual stuff will be included - photos, links, videos (where appropriate)

An example of the content would be taking this past weekend... I went down to the Shore (New Jersey Shore line for those outside of the US) on Friday night to stay at a good buddy of mine's house (Jonathan Kurowski - known as Jonny K!) and all I have to say about that is:
  • Copious amounts of drinking games
  • Grilling meat on the BBQ
  • Beach time
  • Dancing
  • Having fun
Two days (and nights) of that and I was headed back to the city on a nice high :)

Then to top off the weekend I went to the Gay Pride Parade (
http://www.nycpride.org/#docu) which was ridiculous (as you can imagine) followed by Transformers 2 at the cinema (AMAZING!)

Previous weekends have included
Drag Racing in NJ, sight seeing weekend in Boston, big nights out in Manhattan (parties, clubs, bars etc...), Shooting Ranges in the Poconos, Skiing and nights out in Vale (Colorado), weekends in Florida, lots of golf all over the place and beach days on Long Island...

Anyway I'm definitely waffling so will get going and be back soon with some more fun stuff for you all to read.

Love to all
Jay
